How the cap works
Three rules, and no surprise while you are working.
A 5 h window
Once it fills up, it reopens on its own. The refusal message gives the exact reopening time.
Units, not messages
A short question costs less than a long conversation with attachments. The figure in questions is a deliberately cautious order of magnitude.
Announced before it bites
The gauge is visible on every screen that consumes. A limit you only discover by hitting it was never announced.
What each plan opens
The cap widens with the plan. Access to learning itself is not for sale.
